How to Measure Your Feet Correctly

General Preparations:

  1. Stand While Measuring: Make sure you measure your feet while standing. This is because your feet become wider and longer under your body weight.
  2. Timing of Measurement: It’s best to measure your feet in the afternoon or evening, as they become wider and longer by the end of the day.
  3. Measure Both Feet: Always measure both feet and use the larger measurement to select your shoes.

Method 1: Creating a Foot Template

  1. Positioning: Place your feet on a piece of cardboard or paper.
  2. Tracing: Draw around your feet with a thin pen, keeping the pen at a 90° angle.
  3. Measurement: Measure the footprint at its longest point.

 

    Method 2: Wall Method or Measuring with a Ruler or Tape Measure

    1. Positioning: Place your foot so that the heel touches the wall.
    2. Marking: Mark the longest point from the wall.
    3. Measurement: Measure the distance between the wall and this mark using a ruler or tape measure.
